I have noticed a few people stumble on my site looking for information on the Gibson Thunderbird Bass, while this seems like a pretty reasonable accident - it is actually quite the coincidence as I am a long time bass player and huge fan of the Thunderbird Bass which no way shapped the happenings of me getting a Thundberid Car.
I have asked my self if the Roll in Rock and Roll was to do with the general body gyration or more to do with the fact Rock music and Cars goes to gether like Cookies and Milk.
Being a huge music fan and avid guitar and bass player, I am quite fond of the Gibson Thunderbrid Bass. I have had several occasions to play one, but unfortunately have never owned one.
Something tells me, buy the time I my 66 Thunderbird is rolling around I will have one of these fine basses
To accompany it. I have always played a Fender bass, and love my 5 string delux Jass Bass - But I have also been a Gibson Les Paul Fanatic too. I recenetly started playing with a new band that is mostly a metal band, and I beleive that sweet ebony Bass over there would fit that image, roll, and sound slightly better than my Current Jassbass.
I am a big fan of zZounds.com , They always have the best deals and a good staff online to answers a lot of questions. One of the reason I don't already own a Gibson Tunderbrid Bass is because I recently bought an entirely new Bass Rig that tapped my bank pretty hard. I have to admit I am deeply in Love with this Epiphone Studio 5 String version
